We are:london are a leading usability research, design and accessibility agency looking for an experienced Senior Information Architect to join our growing team. We’re looking for either contract (ideally starting next week) or permanent.

We’re experts in user centred design, and our approach goes a step further to deliver real creative insight and recommendations for digital strategies, customer segmentation and content strategies, design and brand development.

Our works spans digital products and services through to customer segmentation and digital strategy, for a wide range of clients and industries across private and public sectors. We are future-focused and advocates of new and exciting techniques to deliver our services, and keen to share our work via tweets, blogs and public events.

As a Senior Information Architect, you would be responsible for the navigation, organisation and interaction design for our client’s digital services. You will be comfortable consulting with clients to understand their business objectives and combining this with user needs and insight to create IA deliverables such as personas, user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes and interactive prototypes. You will be skilled in presenting these deliverables, findings and insights to clients in an exciting and meaningful way. You will be required to both lead projects and work on projects led by other team members, and work closely alongside the rest of the IA team and the research team.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, passionate and has a can-do attitude who will fit in well with our team of 15 talented and friendly people. We are currently based in Battersea (with a lovely view of the river), and preparing for a midterm move into London, as we outgrow this space. The contract position would likely be based near client site in the city.

Key responsibilities:
• Understanding user needs, tasks and goals and translating these into IA deliverables such as personas, user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Working on complex projects in a highly collaborative environment
• Presenting ideas and deliverables to clients
• Client consultancy and relationship management
• Scoping and leading IA projects
• Sharing ideas and knowledge with the rest of the IA team
• Contributing to business development activities such as writing blog posts etc.

Your profile and experience:
• 3+ years IA experience in a digital agency or consultancy
• A good understanding of UX and UCD principles and methodologies, and a proven track record applying these for a range of complex digitally based products and services
• Experience in client management and consultancy skills
• A good sense of commercial awareness
• A eye for effective visual and brand design
• Expertise with IA and UI rapid prototyping tools (Visio, Axure, etc)
• Appreciation of brand integration, cross-platform IA and accessibility
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• A consultative approach to working with clients
