Contract Pay Rate: $30.00 to $40.00 / Hour
Located in Hamilton, our client requires the services of an Interface Designer UX / Usability Programmer for a 6 month contract that has a strong possibility of evolving into a full-time role within the organization. Our client provides an excellent work environment ripe with learning opportunities and lateral thinking. In place is an existing and mature platform for medical informatics, integrating communication, databases, social networking, and curriculum management / evaluations to develop in and for. There is a dynamic, collaborative and friendly team of developers, QAs, and support personnel in place who are collectively excited about technology and the possibilities offered for education.
Requirements & Qualifications:
The Interface Designer UX / Usability Programmer must have a strong background in web interface design and UX / usability. He/she is to have 3 or more years of experience with ASP.NET / C#, UI toolkit and ORM (Object Relational Mapper). Experience working with a Competent with CSS, jQuery, Linq, and WCF / ASMX web services is also a must while experience with Telerik Open Access and Telerik RadControls specifically is a plus.
Additional attributes highly sought in the ideal candidate that will contribute to meeting immediate success would be comfort with working in a dynamic team environment using an Agile project management methodology as well as being enthusiastic about new, cutting-edge technologies and approaches to UI design.
