User Experience Designer

Resolvit IT & Management Consulting (Resolvit) is looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer to work as full-time Resolvit employee in Reston, VA.
Under general supervision, the ideal candidate’s responsibilities include:
Providing creative leadership and expertise in the web, social, mobile, gaming spaces
Presenting recommended solutions to Executive Management.
Rapidly developing solutions to business and creative problems, present solutions in a very simple and succinct manner via visual design, working demonstrations and prototypes.
Developing an increasing understanding of evolved technologies and how to effectively design for those new technologies.
Evolve the client’s strategic product roadmap
Rapidly developing prototypes and proof-of-concepts
The ideal candidate will use their proven expertise in the following to exceed the expectations of our clients, including:
· 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design
· An open-minded, creative and human-centered approach to problem solving
· Passion for creating simple, playful, and seamless product experiences.
· A strong interest in design and technology trends. Familiarity with current mobile design paradigms.
· Support our creative vision and preserve the brand\\\\\\\'s design assets.
· The ability to work collaboratively with other designers.
· Bachelor\\\\\\\'s Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education or experience.
· Experience / Portfolio in relevant design industry.
· Ability to execute design solutions in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks.
· Demonstrated ability to strategically solve problems.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to make presentations
Finally, the candidate must have the following:
· Bachelor’s Degree with 7 to 10 years of UI design and development experience,
· Five plus years of Visual Design, Interaction Design and Prototyping
· A Strong Portfolio and ability to develop using CSS and HTML
· Familiar with the latest emerging trends and technologies for User Experience design
