Senior UX Architect

Avanade is currently building its Experience Design team in the United States. We are looking for the best in the business: people who can see through complex problems, engagement models, documentation, crossed wires, legacy systems, and any number of obstacles -- to discern solid, scalable design, structure, strategy and solution – then work with a global team to create solutions that are best for the user.
We want creative, confident people embedded in the discipline and engaged by their work. People who are in it for the long haul to build the best possible experience for users.
Your Experience
We know that you come from a variety of backgrounds and have a lot of different experience – we like that. But we have to get specific at some point, so we are looking for people who have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
• Contributing to the UX or Design side of enterprise-level heavy back-end projects, such as application development and CMS implementations
• Expert knowledge of offerings within your area of specialization and general understanding of other offerings
• If you have an architecture focus in your background you should have experience creating and presenting architecture deliverables (i.e. information architecture, taxonomies, content structures) – and a portfolio to show
• If you have a design focus in your background you should have experience creating and presenting design deliverables (comps, style guides, interaction designs) – and a portfolio to show
• Familiarity with and ability to participate in creation of delivery of design- and architecture-focused deliverables
• Experience working with a variety of web technologies and expert-level proficiency in Creative Suite and its outputs (comps, HTML/CSS, etc.). For architects, Axure, InDesign, iRise, etc. You don’t need to be a front-end developer but you do need to know how to create design or architecture that lead to the delivery of amazing interactive interfaces.
