Sr. Interaction Designer
at Ancestry.com (Anywhere)
Ancestry.com is looking for a Senior Interaction Designer to join our User Experience team in San Francisco or Provo, UT. Ancestry is the world’s largest online collection of family history resources, home to more than 7 billion historical records, and has more than one million subscribers.

Responsibilities:
•Design Web-based products that are attractive, intuitive, and easy-to-use,
•Work closely with product managers and engineers from early-stage concepting through product launches
•We don’t expect you to be a master of all product design skills, but your daily design life would include a mix of things like visual design, interaction design, quick and dirty prototypes, remote usability testing, brainstorming with PMs and Devs, screwing around on twitter…
•Contribute to the overall company product strategy.
Qualifications:
•A BA/BS in Design (or related field) or equivalent job experience.
•A strong portfolio that demonstrates your visual and interaction design skills,
•Experience designing Web applications (not just brochure sites or landing pages)
•The ability to think strategically so you can help shape future products.
•Great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. We care about each team member and want to hire people who have a lot to contribute.
