Job Description:
The Sr. UX Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue through new customer acquisitions. Driving new business initiatives will include prospecting target customers, working closely with marketing to drive new leads, leveraging sales and marketing tools to drive new leads, evangelizing and educating potential customers the value unmoderated remote user testing methods, coordinating sales presentations, conducting sales presentations to enterprise executives, drafting proposals, working with client’s procurement and legal departments, closing deals, maintaining a sales pipeline, and managing an accurate sales forecast. You will be a UX subject matter expert in online user research and will be able to partner with clients by educating and evangelizing our methods with a consultative sales approach. Understanding UX teams and profiles will help you to effectively navigate large enterprises to connect with decision makers. You will be directly responsible for executing upon sales strategies defined by the Director of US Sales and UserZoom’s founding partners leading global sales and marketing.

About you:
We are seeking a senior sales profile with proven experience successfully selling software as a service (SaaS) solutions to large enterprises. We require all candidates to have experience in the field of user experience, consumer insights, or ideally usability, UX research, remote user testing solutions. We only hire profiles that truly understand the UX market (with proven consulting or hands-on research experience). Therefore, it’s absolutely key to meet the following requirements for the profile to be successful:
3-5 years proven experience and knowledge of the user experience, usability, customer experience or consumer insights. Profiles with experience in UX management, UX research, or UX strategy highly regarded.
5-7 years experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales, account management, business development, within the field of user experience and/or usability. We will consider candidates who have worked for either a professional services company (agency or research consultancy) or a corporation (Microsoft, Intuit, Cisco, IBM, Adobe), but would prefer candidates with a successful track record of B2B SaaS selling.
Knowledge of current UX research methods, tools, and the competitive landscape. A solid understanding of remote testing solutions and the market is extremely valued for this position.
High aptitude for consultative sales and truly understanding the business of user experience research.
Must have experience and a firm understanding of key profiles within enterprise user experience departments and have the ability to tactfully navigate large organizations to connect with budget holders.
A successful candidate will have a large network of user experience professionals from which to “hit the ground running.” The ability to leverage pre-existing contacts is highly valued for this role.
Outstanding social and communicative skills necessary to effectively articulate the benefits and value of unmoderated remote user testing to prospects.
A passion and drive for user experience, the ROI of UserZoom’s technology, and remote testing solutions is essential to your success in this role.
Experience and the ability to conduct focused, elegant sales presentations is an absolute requirement. Experience withobjection handling and problem-solving is essential. (You will be asked to conduct a sales presentation to UserZoom executives as a part of the interview process).
Experience selling SaaS solutions to Fortune 1000 companies.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals/targets as well as managing sales projections and maintaining a strong pipeline.
Expertise with Sales, CRM, and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, Jigsaw, Linkedin, and Marketo.
Experience working with Google applications (gmail, google calendar, google documents), Powerpoint, Word, and Excel.
