UX Designer

We’re looking for a UX designer who will help shape the direction of our entire suite of products – web, mobile, desktop, and social – you’ll work on all of it. A creative design thinker and staunch advocate for our customers, you enjoy brainstorming, collaboration, research, sketching, wireframing, and prototyping.

Responsibilities
• Develop a compelling overall vision of the user experience for each product
• Work with developers and product managers to establish and maintain UX guidelines and standards
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure that standards and best practices are followed
• Provide guidance and assistance in interaction flows and individual features
• Wireframe and create interactive prototypes at various levels of fidelity
• Assist with usability studies
• Re-evaluate current user interfaces and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and curate pattern libraries for the various products
• Participate in user research and make design decisions based on research when appropriate
Requirements
• Applications must be accompanied by a portfolio of recent work (Please indicate your website’s URL)
• Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design, software usability principles, and design constraints on the Web and for mobile devices
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a software/Internet company. Experience in enterprise software application is a plus.
• A clean design sense that strives for the right balance between elegant form and useful function
• Understand the value of design and brand within a design, interface and business context
• A passion for the web and a desire to make any product world-class
• Visual design skills are a plus
• Strong skills in at least one of the following prototyping tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, OmniGraffle/Visio, or similar
• Solid understanding of CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript. Ability to build mockups using HTML and JavaScript a plus but not required
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
