Product / UX Lead

Stealth startup building a new technology platform for personal finance is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Product / UX Lead. Our product is a highly interactive user facing web app that utilizes new technology to dramatically improve a person's ability to make important financial decisions.
We're looking for a talented Product / UI / UX professional with a deep understanding of usability, user experience. The Product Lead will be responsible for mapping out and designing our product's highly intuitive web- and tablet- interfaces, engaging and learning from our user-base, and actively leading the new product-design and features.
We are offering a mix of equity and salary compensation, and the opportunity to join a new high growth startup in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Mapping the product vision and goals to the application
- Managing user experience design
- Wireframing new UI and redesigning, as necessary, the existing product architecture
- User testing (including interviews, surveys and interpreting feedback)
The ideal Candidate would bring to the table:
- Minimum of 2 years Product Management and/or UX experience
- Demonstrated success working on user facing web/mobile/tablet apps
- Ability to work independently and approach users
- Keen sense for usability and clean simple interface
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Front-end web development/coding (not necessary but definitely a plus)
