User Interaction Designer (contract)

Make a positive impact in the healthcare industry, creating
user-centered software for hospital safety and risk management.
Quantros is seeking a candidate to conduct interaction design on their
flagship product.
As a member of the product management team, you will conduct research
with clients; define task flows; mock up screen and report layouts,
help plan and conduct usability studies; contribute to the style
guide; and write specifications for use by downstream teams.
Experience designing web-based transactional systems or reporting
systems is required. Candidates must have a solid understanding of
designing for the web, including CSS, accessibility and AJAX
interaction patterns.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five years experience in user interaction design
- Portfolio showing examples of research, wireframes and specifications
- Experience conducting user research and creating personas
- Experience conducting remote usability studies of proposed designs
- Strong interpersonal skills
Big pluses: experience in healthcare industry; data visualization experience
