Front-end Engineer Architect for Crimson Care Registry

We\'re looking for a talented Front-end Engineer Architect to join our team at Crimson. We are passionate about web development, but on a mission beyond MVC frameworks and dependency management. As a member of our multi-disciplinary UX team you will empower health care providers to transform quality of care with insightful products that engage and delight.
Embedded within a product team as a key stakeholder you will work alongside product managers, software engineers and designers to architect a web experience that is reliable, responsive, and gorgeous. You will use emerging front-end technologies like modern frameworks, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, to push the boundaries of what is possible in web development - laying down a foundation that will allow for quick iteration, scalability, and sustainability.
Along with your resume, please submit a link to a portfolio of JavaScript you have authored, links to your Github projects or sites where your code is in use.
Requirements
- At least 5 years web development experience
- Portfolio with relevant code samples - be prepared to debrief
- Write Javascript, both in its raw form and with common JS libraries
- Capable of translating high fidelity mockups and complex requirements into quality JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for SaaS web applications
- Comfortable with a highly iterative lean/agile methodology that includes providing time estimates and managing feedback loops
- Driven to rigorously test and refine code to get the design right
- Understands how the web works and can make sensible front-end architectural decisions from that knowledge
- Collaboration skills that can deftly articulate your decisions
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
Even Better
- Past experience in enterprise software and or health care
- Exposure to recent frameworks like Backbone.js, mustache, etc
- Deep curiosity for user experience and crafting products that delight
- Exceptional execution, obsess over the details, every pixel counts
- Experience with a geographically distributed development team
- Familiarity with The Lean Startup methodology and MVP
- Broad personal interests beyond software
