Lead UI/UX Designer

The Role
The Lead UI/UX Graphic Designer will champion product design and usability for our product line; help create elegant and simple user interfaces for our overall product line. The ideal candidate will be passionate about clean, compelling, and high-quality design.
This role will work closely with our Product Management, Requirements, Engineering, and QA teams to iteratively shape and refine the way our users interact with our products throughout all phases of the product cycle.
Role can be based out of Towers Watson's Denver or San Diego office.
The Requirements
• Ability to understand complex technical information and convert the use cases into simple, intuitive user interfaces
• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience
• Familiarity with software development process and lifecycles
• Experience developing consumer and/or commercial desktop and mobile application interfaces
Responsibilities
• Lead and champion product usability, design, and user experience
• Translate requirements into concepts and elegant user experience design while defining the overall company "look and feel"
• Develop elegant and refined user experiences through the creation of mockups, conceptual diagrams, wireframes and interaction flows
• Collaborate with the engineering, QA and product teams to refine the design throughout the development cycle
• Participate in product planning and assist with ensuring consistent messaging across our product line and interfaces
• Create and maintain graphic and visual design requirement documents that will be used by the developers
• Create and provide final and development-ready artwork to the developers and assist with the final integration
• Create and maintain a visual design style guide that will be the foundation for the graphic design process at company
