SENIOR INFORMATION ARCHITECT
As Senior Information Architect you are responsible for the navigation, organization, interaction design, and business/user process engineering for leading-edge Web solutions and software. You will apply user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into world-class business solutions. As Senior Information Architect, you will be expected to lead tracks of work, work directly with clients, and create a point of view for the end-user facing solution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create user experience audits and heuristic evaluations
• Responsible for concept generation and modeling
• Responsible for project planning, estimation, and provision of design guidance
• Define site structures and generate task/process flows
• Generate user profiles and (test) scenario
• Conduct wireframe design and solution prototyping
• Present concepts and progress to clients
• Take on track leadership as well as group facilitation and mentor co-workers
• Identify tools templates and techniques that evolve existing approaches for the creative community at Sapient
EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:
• Bachelor's degree preferred in design-related discipline
• Some relevant experience; Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred
• Well versed in user-centered design methods and techniques
• Proficient to expert in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
• Prior experience in UI design for mobile devices a plus
• Frequent overnight travel may be required
